World Cup 2010
The draw has been made and we all know who's playing who in the first round. Some tough games in there, but I guess nothing can be taken for granted these days! Check out the groups using the links on the right. Fixture information is also shown...just a few months to wait for results, now!
The first world cup I remember was Espana '82, when I was 9 years old. I had this great big wall chart...in fact my mates and I had about 6 each...care of Radio Rentals, with all the games listed. You filled in the results and the goal scorers as each game was played. That was my first taste of the world's most passionate sporting competition and I've been hooked every since.

This website is going to be my grown-up equivalent of that wall chart. There'll be a page for each group, with my predictions on how the group will go. Then pages for some of the teams (I'm not so fanatical that I think I'd find something to say on all teams, but maybe I will).
Who am I supporting? Well, I'm an Englishman by birth, but I've been in Australia for over 6 years, so I'll be supporting both teams. I will be trying to watch as many of the matches as I can, though. There's a very good chance that the two teams will meet in the second round.
